4G Watch

4G Watch personal safety device uses its own SIM card, allowing it to connect to the 4G mobile network without the need for a separate mobile phone.  The software platform is available in the form of an iOS and Android app as well as offering a desktop login.  The convenience of monitoring multiple device from one screen allows you to keep track of you family or staff 24/7.

Each device is configured to the specific safety requirements of each individual depending on their need for independent living, lone worker, domestic violence or disability support requirements with the 24Hr Monitoring and support of our ASIAL Certified R1-A1 monitoring centres.

 

 

Easy to Access   Download the app on your phone and set up your subscription to manage devices. Our administration web interface is flexible to use with any iStaySafe device and can be set up to manage all devices for a family, facility or bureau on a single login.
Flexible to suit changing needs  As requirements of the wearers needs change so can the settings, making iStaySafe personal safety devices ideal for any type of situation. All changes can be made on the go.
Keep In Touch  personal safety device provides a number of ways to keep in touch. One way and two way voice, SMS and voicemail messages from up to six authorised numbers. All iStaySafe devices can be connected to a monitoring centre for 24/7 connection.
SOS  Press the dedicated SOS button for three seconds and your device will send an alert and your location via SMS and/or email to your emergency contacts or a 24/7 monitoring centre. An SOS icon will appear on the device.
Location  personal safety device uses a combination of GPS, LBS and Wi-Fi positioning technology to provide accurate location information when needed in the event of an alert or an emergency situation.
Mobile phone  personal safety device can call and receive calls from the six pre-programmed numbers. You can send and receive voice mail messages from these trusted phones as well.
Geo-fence  Multiple geo-fences can be easily created to provide notifications when the wearer leaves or enters a designated area or safe zone. These alerts can notify your nominated authorised contacts.
Receive SMS messages Receive SMS messages from trusted phones. Six trusted contacts can be stored.
Detailed reports  The secure software platform provides detailed reports on notifications, locations and even an historical playback. These can assist in determining behavioural patterns for wearers with dementia or with intellectual disability.

Charging your watch

To begin, ensure that the watch is switched off by pressing the on/off button.
The charging lead for your watch can be found inside the packaging inside your watch box.

Attach the magnetic clip to the back of the watch by lining up the four gold pins as shown.

Plug the USB end into a USB charging plug or a USB port on a computer.

Place the watch on its side to avoid damaging the screen. Once the charger is plugged in, the blue battery charging icon will appear on the watch face.
When fully charged the battery icon will remain a solid green.
It should take 1-2 hours to fully charge. It is important to remove the watch from the charger once fully charged as overcharging can reduce battery life.

NOTE: THE SCREEN WILL GO INTO A SLEEP MODE AFTER A FEW SECONDS. TO CHECK ON ITS PROGRESS LIGHTLY PRESS THE ON/OFF BUTTON WHILE IT IS STILL PLUGGED INTO THE CHARGER, THE DISPLAY WILL LIGHT UP AND SHOW THE BATTERY ICON AGAIN.

The iStaySafe watch requires an active Nano SIM with credit for Voice, SMS and Data. You have the option to use the Telstra SIM we have supplied in the box or use a pre-paid SIM of your choice. We recommend using the Telstra network for best coverage.

To insert your SIM, open the section on the back of the watch marked ‘SIM’ by lifting it off at the point marked by the small arrow.

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU PLACE THE WATCH ON A TOWEL OR SOFT SURFACE, AS THE SCREEN CAN GET SCRATCHED WHEN FACE- DOWN ON A HARD SURFACE.

Once you have removed the SIM cover, gently slide the silver SIM cover until you hear a ‘click’ sound and then flip open.

Gently place your Nano SIM in with the gold chip side facing down. Flip the cover back over the SIM card and slide it back the opposite way to close until you hear another ‘click’. Replace the back cover and push it until it clicks into place.
NOTE:  IT IS IMPORTANT TO ENSURE THAT THE SIM COVER IS CLOSED SECURELY.

 

Emergency contacts are any of six mobile numbers or three email addresses that alerts are sent to and also the only mobile numbers that can call and be called by the watch. You should add at least one emergency contact number. Note that 000 is not a suitable number to add as an emergency contact.

NOTE: SAVE NUMBERS USING THE INTERNATIONAL NUMBER FORMAT WITHOUT SPACES, FOR EXAMPLE, MOBILE NUMBER 0423 513 123 WILL BE +61423513123

Emergency contacts can be added via the iOS or Android app as well as the desktop version of the software.
To add your emergency contacts go to ‘Devices’, ‘My Devices’ menu tabs.
Once entered, you need to save the changes by tapping the tick in the app or by clicking on the save button in the left menu pane in the desktop platform.
The numbers will automatically save to the device when the SIM has an active data connection. If the changes do not automatically update, turn the device off and back on again.

 

Watches are linked to a main account which is generally under the family name. However, you can have multiple users under that account: Mum, Dad, Manager and Supervisor, all with their own unique login. Each of these users will see the devices that are linked to the main family account.
Users cannot be added via the app. To add a user to the main account, login to the TicTocTrack desktop at https://tracker.ticktoctrack.com.
Click on ‘Users’ across the top navigation
Select ‘Add Users’ from the drop down menu
Fill in all the fields
Finally, select ‘Add’ to create the new users.
New user will then login to the TicTocTrack app and/or desktop with their username and the password.

Voice chat allows you and your loved one to communicate via a simple voice message. You will notice that for each mobile number you link to the watch you have the option to contact the person via a phone call or a chat. The images below show you how to use this feature.

A recorded voice chat can be sent from the watch to a registered contact who has the app on their phone with their own user login. Refer to How to Add Users to see how this can be done.

After tapping on the chat button for your linked contact on the watch, press the green microphone button to record your message. Once finished it will automatically be sent to the linked contact.
The contact will receive an SMS letting them know they have received a message. Once they have logged into the app they can listen to it by tapping on the avatar for the watch and choosing the voice chat button at the top of the screen.
To send a message back to the watch from the app, simply press and hold the record button at the bottom of the screen. An animation will appear to show the message is being recorded. Messages you have sent to the watch will appear in blue with messages from the watch displayed in grey.

Once someone sends a message to your watch you will hear a short tone to advise that a message has been received. The watch screen will then display a green icon next to the chat symbol. To listen to the message tap on the pink speaker icon and the message will play until finished.
