4G Base + Pendant + Monitoring

Seven is the latest generation of Personal Emergency Response technology incorporating 4G remote monitoring capabilities and a range of supervised wireless devices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in and around the home.

A simplified user interface combines status indicators and buttons, keeping users informed of any changes to their system. Voice messages and lights are used to provide event notifications and reminders, along with automated system messages.

SEVEN is compatible with existing Chiptech Pearl and SID products, as well as Chiptech software for monitoring. This includes Chiptech Wizard and SmartCare Cloud connectivity to enable fleet updating.

Data sent on 4G or 3G, and voice call back over 4G VoLTE (Voice over Long Term Evolution), or the 3G network.

Pearl Pendant

The Pearl button is a transceiver, so when pressed to send an alert, (and this is received by the base unit), the light ring on the outer edge illuminates in red and flashes to reassure the user that their alert has been received by the base unit, and that help is on the way.

Pearl features a large button surface area to make it easier for people to press, with a recess to reduce the likelihood of false activations. Pearl has a 5 year battery life with typical use.  Typical use is defined as one activation per month, and an RF test transmission every 7 hours. Low battery reporting to monitoring when it reaches 20% capacity. Batteries are non-replaceable. The product has a warranty period of 12 months.

All Chiptech personal help buttons are self-testing with the base unit to ensure correct functioning and low battery reporting. Personal help buttons should be worn at all times including at night in bed. Pearl help buttons are hot waterproof and can be worn in the bath and shower.

Perl Advanced with Fall Detection

The Pearl Advanced with Fall Detection has been designed to prevent people who have fallen from being left to lie on the floor without assistance (long lie).

Pearl Advanced is a specialised help button worn as a pendant, or clip-on pendant. It is designed to detect and summon help automatically if the wearer has experienced a fall, and also features a help button in case of an emergency. It uses a comprehensive algorithm to detect a fall and subsequent impact. The six stage algorithm is designed to ensure that a fall by a person will automatically summon help and that false activations are minimised.

Pearl Advanced features a unique shake-to-cancel period. When a fall is detected, the pendant looks for significant movement which would automatically cancel an alert being sent to the base unit. If no movement is detected in this time period,  Pearl Advanced then sounds a warning beep to signify it is about to send an alert for help.

Significant movement within the warning beep time stops the signal from being sent to the base unit. Once the signal is received by the base unit, there is the standard pre-alarm period which gives the user another opportunity to stop the alert being sent by pressing the cancel button. If the user does not cancel the warning message, then a fall detected alert is sent to the monitoring centre. The operator follows a specific response procedure which may include trying to contact the person and sending help if required.

Pearl Advanced has four available settings; these can be changed to suit the end user requirements, including settings for people with epilepsy, those with cognitive disabilities, and high risk very frail users.

Pearl Wristwatch

The Pearl Wrist Watch is designed to suit most wrist sizes, with a durable polyurethane strap in grey or black.

The Pearl button is a transceiver, so when pressed to send an alert, and this is received by the base unit, the outer edge of the Pearl illuminates in red and flashes to reassure the user that their alert has been received.

Pearl features a large button surface area to make it easier for people to press, with a recess to reduce the likelihood of false activations. The typical battery life is up to five years with typical use, and batteries are non-replaceable.

Pearl Easy Press

The Pearl Easy Press has a specially designed sleeve with a large surface area to make it easier to press to send an emergency activation.

The Pearl button is a transceiver, so when pressed to send an alert, and this is received by the base unit, the outer edge of the Pearl illuminates in red and flashes to reassure the user that their alert has been received.

Help Button-Wall Mount

The Wall Mount Help Button utilises Pearl RF technology to communicate wirelessly with Chiptech ERICA and EVE base units. The Wall Mount Button is a fixed button for users to press to raise an alert for assistance. Pressing the help button will initiate the base unit pre-alarm and subsequent emergency activation to be sent. This can only be cancelled by pressing the CANCEL button on the base unit.

The Wall Mount Help Button plate is an industry-standard sized fitting, and will retrofit over old wired call points, or can be used in new installation locations. It is learned into the Chiptech base unit in the same manner as a standard pendant, by activating the button during Learn Mode. In Range Test Mode, you will hear two counts as the Wall Mount Help Button is pressed, then released, sending an activation signal to the base unit.
Chiptech recommends regular monthly testing of all fixed Wall Mount Help Buttons to ensure they are working as expected.
